Kincaid Ranch serves as the home for many native birds, including bald eagles, peregrine falcons, red-tail hawks, kestrels, great-horned owls, and other birds who nest in the sage, trees, and rooftops around the ranch. Game birds such as wild turkeys, quail, and pheasants also thrive on the land. Our geese tend to warn and protect our hens as they forage, so we have found a way to raise our farm birds while also providing native habitat for the desert's natural residents.
