Our farming and ranching operations focus on bio-integrated practices that combine high quality food production through permaculture practices that co-exist with wildlife conservation practices. Our pollinator plants are chosen because they are native and a great food source for the native humming birds as well as high nectar producers for our honey bees. Our food plants are planted in groups or “guilds” with companion plants which will promote and support one another. We have dedicated parts of our land and resources to these efforts. Other land is devoted to our beef operation, where our goal is to raise cattle solely on grass and hay, never grain. The result is land that is bountiful in a harsh environment, where we are the stewards of all the plants and animals that thrive at Kincaid Ranch.
